Birch Juice Moisturizing Toner

product review positives
I posted on my instastory last week on how I have outgrown Dear, Klairs and that includes my previous holy grail their Unscented Supple Preparation Toner. I now use the Birch Juice Moisturising Toner and I really enjoy it, I haven’t finish this bottle even after 5 months of use. I started using the Birch Juice Toner 3 months after the first visit to my dermatologist. I had an acne breakout and my skin wasn’t coping well with the lack of the hydration. What’s interesting is that when I used the Unscented Supple Preparation Toner, it felt thick on my skin. While the Preparation Toner was able to be fully absorbed, it wasn’t able to retain its hydrating properties. This meant that my skin remained dehydrated. So I switched to this toner after two weeks and it worked a lot better with my new acne routine. It’s a simple hydrating toner with a thinner consistency compared to the Supple Preparation Toner (like water). I used two layers of this and I felt my skin become hydrated AND soothed (which helped so much with the inflammation from the acne and Differin). After using this for 2 weeks, my skin showed signs of regaining some of that suppleness and the fine lines from dehydration started to disappear. 💧💦 This also does not contain fragrance and essential oils so it was perfect for my damaged skin. My emphasis has been on hydration ever since my acne episode and this toner has been a good base. It hasn’t reached holy grail status as there’s one more toner I’m keen to try but I’ll keep you updated on my journey. I recommend it for those who are having sensitised/ inflamed/ damaged skin yet require hydration to help accelerate healing.
product review negatives
Nothing! This was a wonderful product and I would give it a 4.5 if I could. It does its job of hydrating your skin. 💦

Since this product contains ascorbic acid, do you feel a tingling sensation during use?
