I’ve been using the PDRN Reedle Shot Hair Ampoule for a little while now, and honestly, it surprised me more than I expected. The first thing I noticed was the texture, it’s lightweight, almost watery, so it absorbs quickly without leaving that sticky or oily feeling some scalp ampoules do. It has a very subtle, clean scent that disappears fast, which I appreciate because heavily fragranced scalp products usually irritate me.
Performance-wise, it does exactly what it promises: it refreshes the scalp and gives that slightly cooling, “awake” feeling right after application. Compared to other scalp serums I’ve tried, this one sinks in the fastest, no greasy roots afterward, even on fine hair. I’d say it works best if you’ve been consistent for at least a couple of weeks, that’s when I started noticing less dryness and a healthier look at the roots.
One thing that surprised me was the applicator tip. It’s precise and makes it super easy to apply directly to the scalp, but you need to press lightly or it dispenses more than you expect. Something members might not know until they try it is that the formula spreads easily, you don’t need a lot, and using too much can make the scalp feel a bit overloaded.
What I disliked? The pen-style packaging looks sleek, but it empties quicker than you think because it dispenses very easily. I wish it lasted just a bit longer for the price.
Overall, it’s a great option if you want a scalp ampoule that feels clean, lightweight, and actually refreshing without any heaviness. It’s definitely one of the better PDRN-based scalp products I’ve used so far.
