🌿 Green really does mean clean… at least for my pores. I wanted to try these Banila Co Clean It Zero Green Peel Toner Pads because my skin leans oily, gets congested easily, and honestly; sometimes needs a little reset without being stripped. I was looking for something gentle but effective, especially for texture and buildup.
I use these about three times a week, right after cleansing. One swipe across my face (focusing on my T-zone and anywhere that feels rough) then I lightly tap in whatever’s left. No rushing, no stinging.
What I like is how balanced they feel. The LHA gives a mild exfoliation without that harsh “over-done” feeling, kale helps keep things fresh and hydrated, and green apple adds a nice antioxidant boost. My skin feels smoother and cleaner, but still calm.
They’re also great for quick touch-ups on elbows or knees when I’m feeling extra dry. Simple, effective, and easy to keep in rotation; especially when my skin needs a gentle refresh.
đźš« Here are some possible negatives to consider: Not for Dry Skin/Exfoliation Sensitivity/Frequency Limit/Cost Factor/Fragrance/Limited Target/Single-Use Waste/Not a Miracle/Texture Dependence
1. Not for Dry Skin: Can feel slightly drying if your skin is already very dry or sensitive.
2. Frequency Limit: Recommended 3x a week; overuse could irritate some skin types.
3. Exfoliation Sensitivity: LHA may cause mild tingling for very sensitive skin.
4. Cost Factor: Pads can be pricier than liquid toners.
5. Limited Target: Designed for oily/combination skin; may not address concerns like deep hydration or anti-aging.
6. Fragrance: Some people may notice a subtle scent, which could bother sensitive noses.
7. Single-Use Waste: Pads are disposable; might not appeal to zero-waste enthusiasts.
8. Not a Miracle: Won’t instantly clear severe breakouts or dramatically change skin overnight.
9. Texture Dependence: Effectiveness relies on consistent use; skipping weeks may not show noticeable results.
