I picked this up, along with a few other skincare products, on a whim when I was sale shopping on the website. I never really looked into elf skincare but thought, why not? The price was right and the ingredients looked interesting to try. In discovering ways to incorporate more hydration in my routine without looking super oily, it seemed to fit the bill - especially with niacinamide!
It has a runny, slippery, thicker than water texture and spreads nicely onto the skin. I found it absorbed well when pressing it in and could be layered for more hydration. It has a light almost sweet scent that I can’t put my finger on, but it goes away pretty quickly. While I didn’t find anything special about this essence, it added a good boost of hydration and prepped my skin for my other products all without irritating my skin.
I’ve been using it since Dec last year twice a day am/pm and I’m now so close to finishing it! I’ve grown to really like this and now I don’t want to part ways!
