First impressions :
Amazing product ! Hydrating and lightweight and aborbs into the skin nicely . Leaves skin plump and smooth and skin complexion appears brighter and less dull .
Key ingredients :
Coconut water 🥥
vitamin b and vitamin c derivate
How i used it :
Because the bottle i had was nearing the expiry date , i used it seven times in a row ( the 7 skin method ) and also as a mask by soaking the cotton diy dry face masks that comes in candy wrapping
Scent :
Smells like rose water 🌹
Texture :
Medium viscosity , a little bit like a super watery gel texture
Results after using it for 2 weeks straight :
My skin definitely looked less dull . Initially , It was hydrating and i saw a difference in the complexion of my skin . I believe this has a good amount of antioxidants as well so that’s good for fighting off the free radicals
Initially , it was quite hydrating , however, after about a week , my skin started to become even more dehydrated than it was before. So it became oilier and also dryer at the same time .
The strong fragrance also dried out my sensitive skin quite a little. My fine lines due to dehydration started to reappear again even while i was using this product . The salesperson actually recommended using it only 2-3 times a week even though the website states to use it in the AM/PM.
This product did not suit my skin because of it’s strong fragrance . Generally i would prefer something with more hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid , this was not enough to address my skin’s hydration needs . ( my skin is severly dehydrated with weakened skin barrier and acne prone as well as oily and sensitive )
This product is actually quite strong so i would only recommend you use it if you already have a healthy skin barrier that can tolerate fragrance .
Would i repurchase ? This was actually gifted to me but it was not pr just a regular gift
But no i won’t purchase it on my own because
1. It’s quite pricey
2. It did not hydrated my skin sufficiently
3. The fragrance irritated my skin
This is good if you want to incoporate it into a brightening skincare routine though because this has a vitamin C derivate although the percentage is not stated . Vitamin C is usually used in serums instead which are also more potent .
