What I look for in a cleansing oil or balm is that it removes my makeup effectively without a greasy overlay after rinsing it off… Well, this failed at both.
It removed face makeup decently but failed at removing colorful eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara (all NOT waterproof) and when I washed it off, it didn’t properly emulsify aka… it left a thick buttery-feeling oil layer over my skin.
Granted, I do double cleanse, but it’s still not the feeling I’m looking for in this kind of product.
It also smells so strongly and the scent wasn’t pleasant at all to me. The scent reminds me of a cheap flower-y perfume and I couldn’t stand it.
I only had a mini but even that was hard to go through.
I also think it broke me out very badly. I can’t be sure it was this or the stress I was going through. Most likely a combination.
Wouldn’t recommend at all, especially not for the price it’s sold at.
