Also promises to calm and soothe irritated skin and to improve skin’s elasticity. 💭 My thoughts on this product: This serum has a very elegant packaging, looks and feels luxurious in a very subtle way, I think this is in line with Japanese aesthetics or perhaps the idea I have of it. Luxurious in a modest and subtle way. The glass packaging feels heavy and sturdy, with a white plastic elongated cap. Its design is beautiful and the lettering is the cherry on top of the cake. It has a white thick texture, feels more like what we know in the western world as a lotion, as I know in Japan a lotion is what we would call a toner or an essence. Feels very moisturizing and once massaged into the skin it is absorbed very quickly. I have noticed its brightening and firming effects on my skin and, and how soothing it is. As my skin is balanced I can skip the moisturizer in my morning routine and follow with a sunscreen, my skin remains moisturized throughout the day and I never have the need for the moisturizer step. In my night time routine I always follow up with a moisturizer because I like to lock all the hydration and have extra moisture. I would also like to point out that I didn’t notice any fragrance. I love the combination of ingredients, from the skin conditioning ingredients such as Tocopherol, (Vitamin E) that is also antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, Glycerin and Squalane, to the fermented ingredients that are great humectants and help to hydrate and plump the skin, therefore to reduce fine lines.
