I had the opportunity to try and review Pharmagel Enzyme Ex-Cell Facial Scrub. Pharmagel has been in business for almost 40 years and produces pharmaceutical grade age defying skincare products at a very affordable price. I have normal to combination skin (depending on the season) and I was very excited to try this universal exfoliant / mask. The scrub is very hydrating however I felt like it was too harsh on my skin. The product is walnut based and it uses walnut shell for an exfoliation. When I was using it, I felt like it was hurting my skin. My skin did feel more smooth after this facial scrub and I did like that this product is light weight and not drying like some other clay based scrub I have tried in the past where it stripped my skin. Going forward I think I will just use this product like a face mask by leaving it on my face for 10 minutes so I can still get the benefits from this product.
