▪️TEXTURE -
🦋 The serum has slimy texture which feels like a thin mask when applied on to the face.
▪️ HOW I USED IT -
🦋 Since I'm Not New to Chemical Exfoliation and my skin has build tolerance to chemical Exfoliants over the period of time, I used this Serum every 10 days ( thrice a month ).
🦋 I take about 4-5 drops of the serum and spread all across my DRY face and neck and wait for 10 mins. Then I wash it off with plain water and then I carry forward with my routine mostly consisting of hydrating / Soothing products. And I make sure to use generous amount of Sunscreen the next day.
▪️PROS
🦋 made with 5 different acids- Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Malic Acid and BHA(Salicylic Acid)
🦋 18% AHA works on exfoliating dead skin cells and dirt from the top layer of the skin
🦋 2% BHA goes inside the pores and cleanses all the gunk and excess oil.
🦋 over time I definitely saw a reduction in my Hyperpigmentation (both PIH & PIE)
🦋 It gives you almost instantly a even toned and glowing skin
🦋 It also has Propylene glycol which ensures that the skin is less irritated during application.
🦋 It didn't cause purging or broke my out ( I'm not new chemical Exfoliation )
▪️Few Suggestions
🦋 If you are beginner and have never used a chemical Exfoliant before, this is not for you. Start with a chemical Exfoliation with much lower percentage ( @deconstruct_skincare also has a beginner friendly Exfoliating Serum with 5% LACTIC ACID (DRY SKIN) & another Serum with 2% Salicylic Acid (OILY SKIN)). Let your skin build tolerance to chemical Exfoliation first for at least couple of months and then think of using a Chemical peel.
🦋 Apply this Serum on DRY SKIN and wash it off after not more than 10 mins ( 5-7 mins is also good )
🦋 Use not more than 3 times a month
🦋 Be generous with your Moisturiser after applying the Serum and Sunscreen the next day.
