I have tried a bunch of #NUVIT products and while some of them work wonders on me, some can be quite underwhelming which this serum gave me the latter experience. Okay, we start with the advantages first – this spot eraser that I used as a serum has a well-thought-out idea which is impressive since they did not use any typical brightening ingredients like Vitamin C, Arbutin & Glutathione for this product. The viscous gel consistency is quite lightweight, though it took a little bit of time to be fully absorbed and will leave a hint of tackiness. It has no scent too and the price is still under the affordability range – not too low and not too high. It has a decent hydrating & soothing effect which is kind of fine for me since I do not expect those two performances.
However, I think due to my skin always being used to an intense treatment product, especially in terms of brightening, unfortunately, this did nothing on my skin. This review has been held back for two months actually because I want to give this product a chance to prove itself but sadly, it did not fulfill my expectations. It does give me some sort of radiance and healthy-looking skin but as for “spot-treating”, would not say this is the one to be able to erase them.
Overall, I still think this product is worth a try especially for people with more sensitive skin and cannot tolerate other popular brightening ingredients because I have seen other people’s amazing improvement in terms of spot-treating. Like I always emphasized, this underwhelming performance might not be because of the product itself, but more of a me-problem.
