The texture is cushiony cream with what I assume is very fine rice grains imbedded into the cream. It does have a slight scent of roses but I don’t find it to be overpowering at all. I massage this into wet skin and find it to be a pretty gentle exfoliator but highly effective. I double cleanse but tried this alone and it got off all my makeup and sunscreen. Skin feels softer and smoother after every use and it gives my skin a fresh subtle glow. I would recommend to anyone with dull and rough skin.
