Deep Vita C Ampoule

product review positives
I was lucky enough to receive a great Medicube Skincare Routine set in a giveaway through Picky in exchange for my honest review. The set included their Triple Collagen Toner, Deep Vita C Ampoule and Triple Deep Erasing Cream. This review is for the Medicube Deep Vita C Ampoule, which retails on Amazon for $47. ▪️Formulated with 13.5% stabilized Vitamin C, this water-based ampoule gives skin a brighter, more lifted appearance. ▪️Claims to help fade acne scars, freckles, hyperpigmentation & fine lines with visible results in just 7 days ▪️It is certified hypoallergenic & has undergone 12 clinical tests to ensure that it is safe for sensitive skin & brightening effects. ▪️Packed in 3 vials with a dropper, the shielding bottles to keep contents stable & protected from light and oxygen. ▪️Store in the refrigerator to ensure long-lasting freshness of the vitamin C. Key Ingredients: ▪️Ascorbic Acid 135,000ppm (Vitamin C) ▪️Glutathione ▪️Panthenol ▪️Alpha Bisabolol ▪️Terminalia Ferdinandiana fruit Extract (Kakadu Plum) ▪️Camu Camu seed extract ▪️Opuntia Ficus-Indica Extract (Prickly Pear) ▪️Beta-carotene ▪️Beta-glucan Texture: Milky serum with a yellowish tint. Very strong scent (it does fade once absorbed) Packaging: 3 10g/0.35oz dark glass bottles and a dropper My Review: I am always looking for a good Vitamin C Serum with Ascorbic Acid that doesn’t oxidize within a few weeks or irritate my skin. This comes in 3 small dark glass bottles that you can refrigerate, & the small size helps keep product fresh. It is a yellow toned milky serum, somewhat viscous, with a very powerful scent, which is a little off-putting. However, it does dissipate once the Vitamin C is absorbed into the skin. I’ve been using it on alternative nights (I use a Retinol or BHA when I don’t use this). It absorbs quickly & there is no tacky/sticky feeling once applied. The next morning, my skin looks brighter, and skin texture appears smoother. I have not experienced any irritation either, which has been the case in the past with other Ascorbic acid products, so it should work well for those with sensitive skin. I really like this product so far, although I do hate the smell. Pros: ▪️Absorbs quickly with no stickiness ▪️Improves skin tone and skin texture ▪️Non-irritating ▪️Skin appears brighter after only a week ▪️Small dark glass bottles minimizes oxidation
product review negatives
Cons: ▪️Horrible smell ▪️Expensive
