The only reason I first came to own this product (my first face oil serum, by the way) was because Innisfree included a free travel size with its Firming Energy Essence, formulated with fermented soybean. I didn’t want any oils, but I certainly wasn’t going to turn down a free sample product.
One morning, my face was—I won’t say overhydrated, but…let’s just say my skin was not in the mood for any more creams, toners, serums or any of that. So on a whim, I picked up this oil serum.
My this is a lovely product. Sure it’s an oil, and oil isn’t a very sophisticated a concept, but I was mesmerized because this serum was lighter than any oil I had ever encountered (and I have experience with hair oils, body oils, essential oils). This oil serum is an almost clear liquid with an almost watery viscosity. However, once I applied the oil, the liquid sank into my skin quickly, and it left my skin supple and even with a light, pleasant sheen. This facial oil left my skin so soft and supple! It's an Innisfree product so not surprisingly this oil is fragranced, but the scent is light and pleasant and evokes a salon/spa product type of smell.
I was so impressed by how nice my skin looked that I became obsessed with researching and collecting facial oils, haha!
Like many Innisfree products, this oil serum has a noticeable scent. The scent dissipates, but it may not be suitable for people with extremely sensitive skin or skin that cannot tolerate scent. Even though this product is scented, I still have to give this oil serum five starts for the wonderful texture and the way it sinks flawlessly into the skin.
