A customer service associate recommended this product for me around 5-6 months ago. I was hesitant to pay $52.00 for a product I had never used so I opted for the travel size instead. I was back less than a week later to buy the full sized bottle. This microfoliant is effective yet gentle enough that I can use it every single day and have no issues; no breakouts, dry patches, redness, or any other problems and the best part is that it *works*! This microfoliant helps clear out pores, slough off dead skin, and smooth out my skin without irritation. There’s no scent (fragrance or chemical)—just great results!
I love that it’s a powder form because it gives me the ability to control the consistency of my cleanser. I simply pour some of the microfoliant into my palm, and add water; less for a pastey consistency, a little more for thinner consistency—if i add too much water, all I have to do is balance it out with a bit more microfoliant. This bottle lasts a LONG time too! I just bought the refill last week and still had some left over after filling my full sized bottle and the mini (i kept it because its perfect for travel). This line is so great, I bought the Discovery Kit to have 4 of the mini products to use together.
I adore this cleanser so its hard for me to find a con.. Again, it’s pricier than other brands so some may see that as a negative. The ONLY thing i have to be mindful of is the dryness caused by cold, winter air. That can be easily balanced by moisturizing after using the Microfoliant (their Active Moist is great for that).
