i rave about @torriden_global all the time, specifically on their DIVE-IN line (i’m in an actual relationship with that serum). so when they released a sunscreen under the same Dive-In family, i carted it out without thinking twice. 💨
this is a mineral/physical sunscreen which contains not only zinc oxide, but also 10 kinds of HA complex for deep moisture. 💦 this is also why the texture feel less stiff compared to most mineral sunscreens, though it’s still slightly more stiff compared to Benton’s Skin Fit Mineral Sun Cream. it’s also free of alcohol, fragrance & EOs. 👌 it smells like typical sunscreen and has a hint of very very light blue colour that turns white when blended.
the creamy texture takes some time to blend and has white cast during initial application (both are expected from a mineral spf), but the white cast fades almost immediately as it settles, giving more of a brightening effect. my skin looks less dull, plump and hydrated after. it leaves a thin, almost greasy film on the skin but it sets down to a matte finish, with a bonus of subtle glow! i’m obsessed with how healthy my skin looks everytime after i apply this sunscreen. 🤩 it also keeps my face shine-free throughout the day, yet not drying at all. no white cast on me even after reapplication too, it was such a breeze!
i think all skin types will easily enjoy this! based on my personal experience, it won’t be heavy/greasy even with a light moisturizer for oily skin, but it depends on how oily and what other products you layer underneath. for dry-combi skin, while it provides a decent moisture and hydration, it may not be enough especially in harsh winter climates. so use your creams!
1) not sweatproof/waterproof — i still reach out to this for my morning workout when i wake up late as i don’t need to wait before i head out.
2) price point — $25 for 60ml but you can always get it on sale + it’s so good it’s worth 💸
3) i’m not sure how it will turn out on tanned or darker skin tones.
