The goal is healthy skin, not perfect skin.😌 This single ingredient essence is a major step towards a healthy skin! Texture: Unlike many other essences, this one has a very lightweight watery texture. It feels more like a toner than an essence. It absorbs rather quickly and feels comfortable on the skin (no stickiness whatsoever). Attributes: ✔Fragrance free ✔Alcohol free ✔Sulfate free ✔Silicone free ✔Paraben free ✔Oil free Key ingredient: 🗝Centella Asiatica Extract (only ingredient) My thoughts: I've only tried single ingredient products twice. First, I'm From's Mugwort essence, and now this essence; and I haven't been disappointed both times. I wasn't expecting much tbh. I have many products in my routine that are formulated with a high percentage of Centella Asiatica, so I assumed that this essence wouldn't be any better. Turns out I was mistaken! I have told you before how I got an allergy recently and how my face was irritated because of that. During those days, most of my products gave me a stinging burning sensation, even the mildest ones. Luckily, this essence arrived a couple of days later and since then it has become an essential step in my routine (both a.m. and p.m.). It made the recovery process shorter and easier. It calmed the irritation and relieved the itching and redness. I'm already halfway through the bottle, which really says something (I have plenty of products in rotation and it takes me some time to get through them). If you have a sensitive skin, this is the thing for you. I cannot recommend it enough! It doesn't have a noticeable impact hydration wise, and the runny texture makes the application somewhat messy; and still, I wouldn't trade for anything else! My sensitive skin loves it.
