I won a Picky giveaway and received this Cica Daily Smoothing Mask for free in exchange for my honest review.
First let's talk about my skin and what the product is up against. I have very dry, sensitive skin with early signs of aging. I have contact dermatitis that is mainly triggered by some fragrances and certain types of alcohols.
Let's talk what I loved about this mask. I had no allergic reactions or irritations. The formula was great. Probably one of the most soothing and refreshing cica masks I have used, and that is saying a lot. (I actually love it enough I want to check out some of the other products in this line.) The mask fit is great. It adhered well to my skin, there was no slipping or struggling with it.
I love the concepts behind this. Less packaging so less waste, the tweezers make it sanitary, enough masks for 30 uses, etc... All good things, they just weren't executed very well in my personal opinion. So the tweezers were very flimsy, and I found it was a challenge grasping the masks with it. I also had a hard time grasping a singular mask. Lots of times two or three would come out at once. If you were to put them back in the box it would defeat the purpose of keeping it sanitary and using the tweezers. So I ended up wasting a lot.
Bottom line, I would recommend people try this. I would buy again if some small modifications to the packaging were made. I definitely will buy their individually wrapped masks.
