This was my first peeling gel! The texture is actually lighter and more watery than I thought! I used it in circular motions and very fast it started to peel. That’s what the cotton derived cellulose does, upon interaction with the skin natural oils it clumps together and forms these little balls that will gently exfoliate dead cells and impurities
At first I hated the texture, product peeling is one of the most hated thing in skincare so I was really wondering who would enjoy this texture. It didn’t feel comfortable and I just wanted to rinse it off asap
However I have to admit I was impressed with the results after the first use, it did very gently exfoliate my face without damaging it or drying it out, and my skin felt super soft and bright right away.
With time I got used to the texture and now I actually enjoy using this peeling gel much more than I thought I would! I like that it’s an all natural vegan and gentle physical exfoliator and the quality of the product made me overlook my first bad impressions. It is also cruelty-free, fragrance-free and essential oil-free so I would say it’s safe to use for most skin types, except very sensitive one as it’s still a physical exfoliant
I don’t know if I would buy it again but I’m very happy I tried it!
