I have thin and kind of sparse eye lashes so I wanted to try a lash serum to see if it would help beef them up in any way. I don’t think this serum made too much of a noticeable difference, but I do think I can tell that my lashes aren’t quite as sparse as before. I did notice that I had less lash fall out, so if that is something you struggle with then I think this serum would be a good fit for you! Less lash fall out, in turn, means less sparse lashes. I used the entire tube over the span of about 2 months, applied 1-2 times per day. Always applied in the evening, only sometimes during the day as it takes a long time to dry and some days I wear mascara and don’t have time to wait for it to dry before applying mascara. It’s also very affordable at only $8, and you can get it for even cheaper during sales on the e.l.f. website. I would repurchase as the benefits may be greater if used for a greater period of time.
It didn’t cause any redness in or around my eyes, but it can sting your eyes if you apply too much and it gets in your eyes. I also didn’t love the wand it came with, I really think a spoolie would be quicker and easier for application.
