SKIN PERFECTING 25% AHA + 2% BHA Exfoliant Peel

This is a multi-acid wash off mask with both AHA and BHA. It was a gift with purchase when I ordered from the Paula’s Choice website and I don’t use AHA too often so I didn’t know how it was going to work for me. It’s a beautiful irredescent purple and you only need to apply a very thin layer on your face. The directions say to leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash off, but this is so strong that I’ve never been able to leave it on for the full 10 minutes. It’s starts burning and stinging around the 8 minute mark for me. Worth a try if your skin is ok with higher percentages of AHA though!

Unfortunately, I think this is too strong for my skin. It burns and stings before I can even leave it on for the full amount of time and I never really noticed a positive difference in my skin after using it. I’m fine with regular use of BHA, so I’m sure it was the high percentage of AHA that my skin didn’t like. I will see if I can work my way up to using that percentage of AHA and then try it again.
