Some time ago, I decided to take a break from retinol's. I found myself just needing stronger & stronger variants to reach the intended goals, as I'd been using them for years. So I decided to go for more natural options to fight aging.
I'm familiar with @realrevivalabs and had entered a recent giveaway, winning this bottle of Bakuchiol Plus Serum. I've used Bakuchiol before, so what really interested me was the "Plus" 🌱 Alfalfa, for its antioxidant & vitamin (a,b, d, e,k)/mineral rich nutrients, and Artichoke, for its abilities to fight fine lines & improve elasticity.
I like that it comes in a dark, serum protecting glass bottle. The pump, a tad stiff, disperses quickly, so be cautious! The first thing I notice is the scent. Soft and delicate, it's really quite lovely, one you want to linger. I'm not sure what makes the scent. The texture is oil based, but thin, absorbs nicely, and leaves your skin feeling velvety to the touch. A wonderful thing about this serum is that it plays very nicely with others, so you just follow up with your favorite moisturizer, or, because of the richness of its ingredients, on warmer days, you can use this on its own!
Final 💚 I truly enjoy this serum. Having never used the PLUS ingredients before, I find my skin is really enjoying the added benefits. I love how my skin feels more hydrated and smoother, and that it prepares me for the next step in my routine so much better. I'm just looking better, faster!
