๐This serum is comprised of 10% ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฑ, the pure & most bioavailable form of vitamin C, & 5% ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐๐น ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐น๐บ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ, a stable & oil-soluble form of vitamin C, in a silicone suspension. Because of the silicone base, the formula doesnโt need to be at a specific pH level. Thereโs also ubiquinone & tocopherol for more antioxidant protection & to stabilise the ascorbic acid. Thereโs squalene for moisture & bisabolol to soothe any irritation the ascorbic acid may cause.
๐The texture is more like a light cream than a serum so I use this after any toners, essences or water-based serums I might use but before my moisturiser or sunscreen. Aside from the obvious protection against free radicals, I noticed a mild improvement in hyperpigmentation. Unlike some other vitamin C products that are also silicone suspensions, I didnโt find this to be gritty. It was smooth & applied nicely.
