💭Thoughts:
The first thing I noticed was the strong Lavender smell which I really love because it’s my favourite scent.
The sunscreen itself is a lightweight cream texture that is easily absorbed and does not leave a white cast. It also leaves a satin finish that makes my skin look healthy and hydrated, but not oily. Overall, this is a pretty good sunscreen but its ingredients are nothing to shout about and its effects are pretty ordinary to me.
The lavender smell comes from the lavender essential oil added into the formula which can cause irritation for those with sensitive skin. It is also not alcohol free and since it is a chemical sunscreen, it is ultimately not the most gentle sunscreen for those with sensitive skin despite the cica contained in the sunblock. If you look at the listed ingredients, you’ll also notice that cica is near the bottom of the ingredients list and is even listed after the lavender essential oil.
