💭Thoughts:
The original formulation of this soap was labelled simplyas Liquid Facial Soap Mild and came in a pump bottle. The squeeze bottle whilst a little more inconvenient (you have to eyeball the amount to use) is much more sustainable and uses plant-derived, recycled plastic. Including the years it was called Liquid Facial Soap, I’ve been using this cleanser for around 6 or 7 years now.
I loveeee how gentle it is! It comes out as a thick, clear gel that easily lathers up when wet. This was one of the few cleansers I used that didn’t leave my skin feeling tight, flakey or itchy AKA super dried out. The new formula contains tocopheryl acetate, aka Acetic Acid + Tocopherol (Vitamin E) which is great for its anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties as well as its anti-ageing effects. Although slightly on the pricey side, they usually have great sales (i.e @lazada_my Buy 1 Free 1) which are also the times I stock up on this. As someone who is change averse I think I’ll be sticking to this cleanser for another decade or so unless I find something better (which won’t be easy)!
