I received this product from Picky and SKIN1004 for free in exchange for my review.
I love SKIN1004. They offer great, gentle options that are suitable for more sensitized/ reactive skin types without added fragrance. They utilize centella asiatica extract from Madagascar. Centella is known to be soothing for sensitive skin and is considered wound-healing. Nicknamed "tiger grass," the legend surrounding centella claims that in the wild tigers will roll around on it to soothe their wounds. It boasts antinflammatory effects and could be great for reducing the redness and inflammation in acne-prone skin.
The Probio-Cica line is new, and features fermented centella and ceramides to help boost the skin barrier.
The Intensive Ampoule is the star of the three products in my opinion. It reminds me of a more nourishing version of Dr. Jart+'s Ceramidin Liquid and similar to Dr. Ceuracle's Dexcarnol Lotion. It feels cushion-y and soothing. It moisturizes fairly well for my oily skin but would probably need to be layered under a heavier moisturizer for dry skin. This contains fermented centella, niacinamide, arginine, allantoin, panthenol, ceramide np among other soothing and moisturizing ingredients. I like to use this before tretinoin to help boost my skin barrier. A lovely ampoule (serum) that I will purchase when it runs out.
