I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, nail tech and professional makeup artist for 23 years. I graduated from a Paul Mitchell trade school in cosmetology and aesthetics at 16 and then attended Joe Blasco East for professional makeup artistry including TV, theater, SFX, prosthetics and animatronics. I’ve worked for salon distributors and as a rep for salons and spas, Clinique, Joe Blasco, Joico and Paul Mitchell as well as volunteered my time and skills at Universal Studio's during some of the first Halloween Horror Nights, Skull kingdom and a few runway shows including Bebe & XOXO. I'm currently a new professional skin therapist for POMP where we educate clients on skincare, ingredients and recommend products based on their skins needs, I'm also a new brand educator for Kaori Rose and I recently started expanding my knowledge and became certified in body sculpting with cavitation, RF therapy, vacuum RF therapy and laser lipo. I am certified in InLei Lash fillers, tint and lifts, henna brow mapping and tinting, hyaluron pen and Mesotherapy, fibroblast, microneedling, dermaplanning. I recently got certified in permanent makeup, microblading, ombre and powder brows, Nano brows, lip blushing and scalp micropigmentation, and I'm currently training in paramedical tattooing and looking forward to continuing adding to my education, training, and experience within the beauty industry and relative fields within it.

Fieldtrip Skincare Ready for Takeoff Dermaplane Wand

I've been in the beauty industry for over 22 years now as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. My focus is now in skincare and I am certified in dermaplanning so I was really excited when I received the Fieldtrip Skincare Ready for Takeoff Dermaplane Wand. I don't believe just anyone should dermaplane their face though, this can be a extremely beneficial service that can leave your skin feeling and looking beautiful, allow your make up to apply more evenly and smoothly or if not done correctly it can leave you with really irratated skin, razor burn and even cause severe mutilation leaving behind scaring. I personally loved the wand and thought it was perfect for home use and for someone who knows what their doing, I never recommend clients dermaplane themselves unless I believe they are skilled enough to do so in which case Ive never recommended home dermaplanning.

Fieldtrip Skincare C The World Brightening Serum

I've been in the beauty industry for over 22 years now as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. Vitamin C is one of my absolute favorite facial products and I never go without it, it's one of the first things I'll recommend clients keep on hand at all times and use regularly and I really wanted to love this vitamin C serum as I've really liked all of Fieldtrips other products I've been lucky enough to get to try but the Fieldtrip Skincare C The World Brightening Serum just didn't do it for me, first it separates really quickly and is a little difficult to get it shaken together as it keeps wanting to separate, it also feels a bit sticky on the skin and doesn't absorb as quickly as I'd like. Living in Florida it's tough to find products that don't lay on the skin's surface to long, with the humidity if it doesn't absord quickly enough it tends to get layered with moisture and sweat from the humidity and then you feel as if it sits like that all day. Unfortunately this isn't my favorite vitamin C serum, though it may work better for someone who doesn't live in the sweatiest state in the country 🤔

Fieldtrip Skincare Smooth Trails Energizing Face Scrub

I've been in the beauty industry for over 22 years now as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. One of my absolute favorite things to do is try out new beauty products, and one of my favorite products is a good exfoliant!! Even before going through all the schooling and being knowledgeable when it comes to skincare I was always a sucker for a good exfoliant when younger because my skin tended to be alot a dryer. I was so excited when I received the Fieldtrip Skincare Smooth Trails Energizing Face Scrub as it was the first exfoliant I was able to try through BeautyTap amd I thought "about time 😂". I wasn't disappointed, this exfoliant does the job without harsh particulants in it, it doesn't feel as though it's tearing up your skin but lightly sloughing away the unwanted dead skin that sometimes sticks around, especially under the eyes where I always have the toughest time exfoliating, that under eye area is so sensitive, especially when it comes to exfoliants!
