We can not ignore the packaging, something Figs & Rouge is very good at. Now this is currently only available in the UK from what I can tell, which makes sense as I received it from a Glossybox box, and when I checked the retail was about $58 US.
This is a vegan & cruelty free formula, designed to help smooth rough skin with a little bit of exfoliation, used once a day (I use it a couple times a week)
With Salicylic acid (abt 2%) and Retinyl Palmitate (a distant relation to retinol, under 1%) to help smooth skin and sodium hyaluronate, Vit E, triglycerides, and aloe to help moisturize skin this is an effective yet not irritating serum on my skin. It absorbs easily, and doesn’t feel tacky at all!
That being said, I have resilient skin and there are a few irritants in this serum as well that may make it a poor choice for those with more sensitive skin
Additionally it has mica in it, and for me, well, it just isn’t a bonus in this particular item, I swear I can feel it in the texture when I initially apply this and it just makes it a bit odd, but it doesn’t appear on my skin after 🤷🏻♀️
So while yes it is physically absolutely gorgeous, has a nice light scent I love, is effective and not irritating for me, it just would not be one I would repurchase, but will use it all up!
