d'Alba is known for their premium skincare based on the antioxidant benefits derived from the Piedmont White Truffles. These truffles are an incredible source of phenol and flavonoids, as well as Vitamins C & B12, Amino Acids and minerals. d'Alba took them one step further by combining them with Tocopherol (Vitamin E) to produce their key ingredient called Trufferol, which produces noted improvements in skin's surface and deep elasticity after 4 weeks use.
Bazzaal and d'Alba sent me the Italian White Truffle Vital Spray Serum to try free in exchange for my honest review. I had previously tried the White Truffle First Spray Serum, so I was excited to try and compare this one.
The Vital Spray Serum is also vegan and hypoallergenic, focused on White Truffle as its key ingredient.
A bi-phase serum mist, it is safe for sensitive skin and can be used to soothe redness and irritation.
It's hydrating & moisturizing, the serum layer's focus ingredient is Trufferol, while the oil layer helps lock all the goodness in with focus ingredients like: Rosehip Oil, Red Rose Oil, Cherry Blossom Oil, Scented Geranium Oil.
The Vital Spray can be used as a setting spray or primer too, though I have not tested this.
My demo was filmed on one of my worst days in the worst of conditions as I couldn't catch a break. But you can see the honest truth of how refreshing the spray is and that even on the most swollen, in pain, hormonal breakout, tired face in bathroom lighting, the Italian White Truffle Vital Spray Serum gives a glow.
That said, the fragrance is too strong for me, especially as it's a floral scent. I can't use the spray even though I truly enjoy the formula, and will need to pass it on to a florals-obsessed family member.
If you enjoy or can tolerate strong fragrances, of the rose/ floral variety, this would be a great serum mist to try. If not, the White Truffle First Spray Serum has fragrance but to a more tolerable degree and may be a better option if you want to experience the benefits of White Truffles.
