I was so excited to try this Glow Younger Body Concealer lotion - in part because I'm a lotion junkie, but mostly because of the amount of scarring I have, especially on my legs. And with ingredients such as Hydrolyzed HA, Soluble Collagen, & Retinyl Palmitate, it was almost a no brainer. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a dud in the concealment area.
It's touted to conceal scarring, and I have burn scars on my legs that I wanted to blend - they are lighter than my natural skin tone. While the lotion feels wonderful, and it has such a creamy texture, it didn't cover any of my scars or discolorations, and its blendability is lacking. In addition, I chose it in Natural, which should have been a perfect match for my skin color, instead, it was more like a tanning lotion, and when I sat, it creased, causing variances in tone. However, I did give it 2 stars simply because of its ability to hydrate. I think this is one I'll keep using for the hydration, but only under pants or somewhere not to be seen. It is NOT transfer proof!
For $39.99 usd, I definitely expected more from this lotion, and was greatly disappointed. This one is not worth the money or even trial if you're given the chance.
