This toner is meant to exfoliate, brighten, and hydrate skin. It has a lightweight consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin. It contains a blend of lactic acid, willow bark extract, and an azelaic acid precursor. The cost per oz for the jumbo size is quite affordable as it is $38.00 for 8.5 oz or $52 for 16.9 oz. Smoothed out uneven texture on my chin and helps clear out clogged pores.
This has a very strong citrus scent, which is not my preference. Because it contains a surfactant (cleansing agent), the toner slightly foams up like a cleanser which I find a bit odd. I often experience a mild burning and stinging sensation and redness when I use this toner, so this is not ideal for sensitive skin. This product has many common irritants including fragrance, multiple essential oils, and limonene. Didn’t notice much brightening.
