SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner
The Soon Jung relief toner is a watery toner with a 5.5 pH level, making it an acidic toner, which ultimately aids in the regeneration of the skin. It contains Panthenol, which is known to calm and soothe the skin, as well as Madecassoside to fortify it and protect it against pollution and bacteria. It’s free of color, fragrances and parabens, making it ideal for sensitive skin and, in theory, a relief serum. It’s so watery that if it weren’t for the tingling I get when using it, I would think it’s water. It has no smell whatsoever.
There are twi reasons why I’m giving it three stars. The first one is that this relief toner doesn’t feel relieving at all. As watery as it is, my skin tingles when I use it and, most of my routine being relieving, I know this is not a good feeling to get from a relief product. The second one is that this product will not become nowhere near indispensable in any routine. There are products that are far richer and get the job done better, and it doesn’t have anything to stand out to recommend it.
