✨Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil (200ml)
In addition to the main ingredient Centella Asiatica oil (10,000ppm), it contains 6 different plant oils (sunflower, bergamot, olive, jojoba, rose geranium and damask rose) to gently remove the dirt and impurities. It has sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, the most common surfactant used in oil cleansers.
The texture is lightweight and very easy to work with. I use this on dry skin and rub in circular motion until it emulsifies and removes all the sunscreen, makeup and sebum. I haven’t tried mascara though so can’t comment on that. My skin is not stripped and remains moisturized but without any oily residue after cleansing. My skin is dry and I feel some cleansing oils and balms leave my skin a bit dry but not this cleanser. I love that my skin feels so soft and supple even after double cleansing.
Despite containing limonene and linalool, I believe this cleansing oil is suitable for most skin types because, as a cleanser, it gets rinsed off anyway. I personally did not experience any irritation and I’ve been enjoying this in my routine.
It contains limonene and linalool, both considered allergens present in essential oils and might be problematic for some. While it includes some essential oils (see ingredients above), it's a cleanser, so this shouldn't be a major concern.
