Deep Cleansing Oil
Summary:
This is a lovely cleansing oil for dry skin. It gets my face nice and clean without drying it out at all. Using it is a very relaxing experience.
Details:
This product contains olive oil and you can smell it when you use it. I see that as a good thing because it means it doesn't contain artificial fragrance which is great for my sensitive skin. It's also alcohol free and has a short ingredient list which is always preferable.
Upon contact with water it immediately turns creamy and it's super easy to distribute all over the face and neck. Afterwards my face doesn't feel greasy at all, simply clean and soft. It can also be used as the first step in double cleansing.
At 14€ per 100ml this product lies in the lower range of skincare products. This product is vegan.
I cannot find anything negative about the product itself and the packaging (pump dispenser) works fine too.
Sadly, DHC is not cruelty free because it sells products in mainland China where animal testing is required by law.

I just can't imagine it not leaving the skin oily, especially with olive oil in it!?
