Pure Cleansing Oil

product review positives
Update July 7, 2025 I’ve finished two bottles of this so far and can safely say it’s one of the best cleansing oils I’ve tried. I don’t think I’ll be switching to another cleansing oil as long as I have this in my stash. It emulsifies well and hasn’t caused any reactions for me. The formula of Manyo’s Pure Cleansing Oil is lightweight and not overly runny, making makeup removal a breeze. It doesn’t leave behind a film after rinsing, nor does it dry out the skin. It creates the perfect canvas for skincare application afterward. It’s great for daily use and doesn’t clog pores. I’ve used this for over a year and can confidently say it’s non-comedogenic. For reference, I have combination-that-leans-oily skin type. This may contain lavender and orange peel oil, but it has personally worked for me without irritating my skin. Skincare is highly subjective, so it goes without saying: patch test this first before incorporating it into your routine. I’ve updated my rating from 4.5/5 to a 5/5 simply because I appreciate that the formula hasn’t been changed, and Manyo knows to keep what already works. ____________________________________________________ Update - April 8, 2025 This arrived just in time, as I finished a bottle of it a couple of weeks ago before currently using the deep clean version. It’s one of the better cleansing oils in my collection because it doesn’t burn my eyes. I’ve tried both this version and the deep clean version, and I definitely prefer this one by far. What the Manyo Cleansing Oil Is: - A gentle cleansing oil - Contains 200 mL - Purpose: To remove stubborn makeup before using a cleanser for a refreshing clean My Rating: 4/5 🐥 A year ago, I rated this cleansing oil 4.5/5, unsure if it would remain one of my top picks. A year later, I’m still a fan of this cleansing oil. 🐥 I didn’t experience any post-wash dryness when using this in combination with my cleansers. While oils typically don’t dry out the skin, I’ve noticed that using certain cleansing oils in combination with my facial cleansers can sometimes leave my skin feeling drier. 🐥 This contains oils that are generally suitable for the face, but I do think the inclusion of lavender oil and orange oil could be irritating for some people. For instance, a family member of mine used it to remove her makeup and experienced slight swelling around her eyes—she has a mild allergy to lavender oil. So, while it works for me, I wouldn’t say it's suitable for everyone. 🐥 Overall, this is a decent cleansing oil that works fairly quickly to remove stubborn makeup. _____________________________________________________ ORIGINAL - JULY 23,2024 Let me share my newest skincare obsession with you - the Manyo Pure Cleansing Oil! I’ve gone through a fair share of cleansing oils, and this is easily going into my top three for makeup removal! As someone with combination-sensitive skin, I prefer cleansing oils over most types of makeup removers, given that they effectively remove makeup without drying out or irritating my skin. 💛 This gentle formula, like most of Manyo's pure skincare line, is specifically designed for sensitive skin but works well with any skin type. This versatility makes it a universally friendly product. 💛 This is a non-irritating formula, so it’s less likely to cause breakouts or reactions. But like always, you may want to patch test if you find any ingredient which you may have potential allergy to, which brings my next point. 💛 This has several great ingredients such as sunflower seed oil, soybean oil, grape seed oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, and rice brand oil. With that being said, it does also contain lavender oil and orange oil - both of which I know some people are allergic to. Personally, it did not trigger any allergic reaction on my skin because I do not have allergies to any of the products indicated. 💛 This has a mild, pleasant scent that I like. It smells like an herbal oil (of different mixes) that somewhat leans nostalgic. 💛 You need to activate the cleansing factor with water. I originally thought the oil itself could cleanse the makeup, but it’s water activated. LOL, don’t be like me, trying to scrub my makeup hard without activating it with water. 🙃 Overall, I rate this a 4.5/5. It’s great for sensitive skin, smells great, and cleanses really well. I would double-check ingredients to make sure its suitable for your face. *Gifted by Manyo. Thank you so much!
product review negatives
Just make sure you’re not allergic to any of the oils and you should be good to go!

Dry/Sensitive

I like this oil-based cleanser. It removes makeup easily and doesn't dry out the skin. Which is very important for those with dry skin. :)
