The Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Butter is a tanner and rich moisturizer in one. Stand out ingredients are avocado, coconut, and peppermint oils for deep hydration, smoothing, vitamins A + C for improved elasticity, & refreshing skin. It delivers the most natural looking tan out of all of the self tanners I’ve tried in recent years. I am pretty pale and have not had any luck with self tanners in the past because they all turn out very orange on me. Not the IOP Self Tanning Butter!
In just 4-6 hours the incredibly rich, hydrating body butter color corrects to even out skin tone while also imparting a delicious, healthy glow. Immediately upon application, however, skin is left illuminated with a subtle golden sheen. It is a beautiful finish, both the immediate result and the final tan. The only area I do not apply the IOP Self Tanning Butter is my face, so I cannot answer for how it works in that area. I would recommend a different self tan product for it.
Keep in mind the color is gradual, so you can build it to your liking. My favorite shade is after 2 days of usage! I end up with a medium-ish tan shade (no orange here unless you forget to wash hands or moisturize the knees/ elbows/ ankles first!) which truly is a feat since I have only ever burned in the sun. Thanks to Isle of Paradise I finally have my first true tan!
