This was an easy five out of five stars for me. I adore skincare that is free of added fragrances. I’m someone with dry leaning skin, so thicker creams like this one tend to be better for my everyday routines (especially in the winter). I deal with eczema of the face, so the real test for me and moisturizers is whether I wake up with flaky skin in the morning. I am happy to say I had no flakes after using this cream overnight! You don’t need a ton of this moisturizer either. A little bit goes a long way. Even just a bit more than a pea size was enough for my whole face and neck. I think you can do an even smaller amount if you have more oily leaning skin. It didn’t leave me feeling greasy after application which is also important to me. My skin still felt like it could ‘breathe’ with this cream, even though it was in the thicker side.
Key ingredients are: glycerin, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, and panthenol to really help your skin maintain moisture. It also features rice bran and Centella Asiatica. It is formulated to help with oil balance, even though people with oily skin automatically think thicker creams won’t work with their skin type. Sometimes skin gets oily as a result of your skin actually being dry. The skin over produces oil as a result of it lacking moisture in your routine. So this may be worth a shot to add to your routine too.
