I really enjoyed this cleansing oil. It is very light, as squalane tends to be, but is tough on makeup. I always cleanse for 60 seconds (LINK), but it only takes a few seconds to break up even the toughest eye makeup. When you first apply two to three pumps to your skin, it immediately glides over your face easily. As you keep working it into your skin, you may begin to feel small “grits” or sebum plugs gently popping out of your skin. I always experience that with this cleanser. When you’ve cleansed for 60 seconds, it washes off easily and without a film, though I always follow up with a second cleanser to be sure.
The scent of this oil is so nice thanks to the essential oils that it includes. Some people avoid essential oils, but I find that they aren’t sensitizing to my skin. In addition to the squalane and essential oils, this cleansing oil also contains the moisturizing ingredient of oat kernel oil. Oats are beautiful for calming and gently moisturizing the skin.
