As someone who has sensitive skin, sometimes niacinamide can be too much for me if it’s too high of a concentration. Lucky for me, this one is a lower percentage at only 3%. So if you’re looking for a good starter niacinimide, this is definitely worth checking out in my opinion. I also adore the fact that this is a fragrance free product, because I can have sensitivities to scented skincare. Even though it looks sticky in my video, I was surprised by how lightweight it was. So it didn’t dry down leaving my skin feeling tacky or anything. When I used this in combination with the toner and cleanser from this same line, it was all hydrating enough for my skin that I surprisingly didn’t need a moisturizer. And I say that as someone who has dry leaning skin that can sometimes have flaky eczema patches.
I didn’t have anything that I really really disliked about this product. I appreciate that it’s lightweight and fragrance free. But when I used this by itself it wasn’t quite hydrating enough which was why I removed one star. It worked much better in combination with the rest of this line and a moisturizer on top. But I think this would be a great option for people with more oily skin.
