I tried Anua’s rice cleansing powder since I love rice products! I’m usually not a fan of powder cleansing products but this was really good and exceeded my expectations. I find that the powder disintegrates in water really well and doesn’t feel gritty or uncomfortable on my skin like other powder cleansers I’ve tried in the past have done.
This powder has a rougher, hard texture kind of like a dippin dot (the ice cream) when not combined with water. After adding water, the powder turns into a very smooth, silky marshmallow like texture. The cleanser is so milky and soft and I love being able to control the texture based on how much water I add.
The rice cleanser also is a really good cleanser. It removes all the dirt and makeup from my face when I’m double cleansing, and I never find that I need to use another cleanser or it hasn’t fully gotten rid of my impurities. After using it, I definitely don’t feel stripped of my natural oils and it feels so clean and fresh without being tight at all. I absolutely love rice so much for the brightening effects. I’ve noticed this cleanser, in combination with the rest of the rice line, has helped my skin look brighter and feel more nourished. I’ve noticed some subtle glow after using this.
There’s also not a strong scent which is good for my sensitive skin. I really like the natural scent of rice so this is a great product for me!
