A few pluses first I really like the pump packaging, and it absorbs into the skin quickly, not leaving an oily finish on my skin.
It works well on combo skin and I think oily skin would appreciate the formula as well. It isn’t heavily fragranced but it does have a mild sort of earthy scent to it.
Overall I like the way my skin feels after using it as well, very soft, no white cast from the sunscreen either, that I notice.
I do have a few less good things though, one I prefer a higher spf for my face, I usually use an SPF50, and more importantly I am confused about the addition of retinol to a spf.
I use my retinol products in my pm routine, and when using this during the day I have to avoid other things like Vitmain C that I prefer to use during the day. It just seems like an odd combination, not something I would use daily, I also would not reapply retinol every 2 hours, like I do with sunscreen. It seems like it would irritate my skin, although I am unclear as to how much retinol is in this, I don’t see a percentage anywhere in the description.
I would really like this as just a retinol moisturizer I can use at night minus the spf.
