This is a slugging product which I like to use as a rescue treatment for when my skin is horribly dry. I apply it overnight and wash it off in the morning. It is one of the most occlusive products I have in my collection. The key is to use hydrating products first and then it this as the last step to lock in all the moisture. I don’t use it every night but I think of it as my emergency treatment for when I really need to get moisture back into my skin. Mostly I use it in the winter. There is no fragrance and it never irritates. I believe that this noticeably improves my skin barrier after one use.
