The Torriden Balanceful Cica Toner Pads are exfoliating pads that were pre-soaked in a soothing, calming, healing and balancing Toner. These pads, containing 5 types of Centella Asiatica (also known as Cica) for soothing and calming the skin, to reduce redness and to heal the skin, PHA and LHA to gently exfoliate the skin and Glycerin for hydration, are claiming to be soothing and calming the skin, while providing hydration, eliminating redness and excess sebum and revitalizing the skin. These pads also contain Panthenol, Witch Hazel Extract, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Nymphaea Caerulea Flower Extract, Swertia Japonica Extract and Lactobacillus Ferment, amongst others.
These pads have a textured side and a smooth side. The textured side can be used for a gentle exfoliating effect by removing dead skin cells and the smooth side can be used on more irritated areas on the skin.
When using a few of these pads and leaving them on your skin for a few minutes, you can also use them as a refreshing yet soothing and calming face mask.
These pads are cruelty free and vegan.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭:
This is the first product in the Torriden Balanceful line that actually has a scent, as far that the ones I've tested go. While the Serum and the Cream were absolutely scentless, these pads have a mild scent. It's not overwhelmingly strong and the scent is gone as soon as you're done using the pads, but it certainly is noticeable while using them. It definitely isn't a bad scent, but I found it to be a bit medicinal or clinic-like. But not bad at all! It actually is a quite pleasant scent and I definitely like it!
𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥:
The pads feel like they're made of a cotton-like material, but I couldn't really find any other ingredients than the usual skincare ingredients these pads contain, so I'm not really sure if they're really made out of cotton. I assume they do though. But whatever material they're made of, they feel very soft and pleasant on the skin.
They're quite thick and sturdy yet still very lightweight. And they contain enough Toner to treat your whole face and neck, which is amazing, but not too much to get it dripped all over your face. They feel very refreshing, cooling and calming while using them. The pads don't leave any sticky, oily or greasy feeling and don't make your skin feel dry or tight.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠:
These Toner pads come in a clear yet greenish looking colored plastic container with a light green colored flip cap and features black text on the side. There's not much of information on the container itself, just the name of the product. It looks minimalistic but classy.
There's also a little plastic tweezer in the container, to handle the pads in a hygienic way, and a space to hold the tweezers underneath the lid, which is such a wonderful extra.
The container comes in a white and green carton box, containing a list of ingredients, directions on how to use these, along with a caution warning and some brand info, in black text in both English as Korean.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭:
After using these pads, my skin feels soft, smooth, plump and supple without feeling itchy, dry, oily or greasy. I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritations while or after using these pads and they didn't make my skin feel dry, tight, oily or greasy. My skin looked balanced, moisturized, radiant and healthy and well cared for.
𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧:
I like them! I especially like how convenient these are, it's really easy to use pads like these because you just run them over your face and you're done. And when placing a few pads on your skin and leaving them there for a few minutes, you can also use them as a mask, I love multifunctional products! I also love the scent, despite reminding me of medicins, how sturdy and thick they are, how refreshing they feel while using them and the eye for detail, like the little tweezers packed in the container. It's the little things that count! 😉
Higly recommended for anyone looking for a quick and convenient toner solution, especially for those with sensitive skin!
