I really like this a lot. I heard about the benefits of fermented rice a few years ago when I read how the women working in the places that make Sake have really soft hands and they realized it is beneficial to your skin and gives it a more youthful appearance as well as making it smooth and soft i started using SK-II essence and it is amazing but very expensive so I started looking for other products that contain fermented rice to try and I came across this and the bottle is so cute so I had to try it. Overall it seems to work very well my skin feels really soft and feels hydrated it does smell somewhat like Sake but it doesn't bother me. Actually Kikumasamune is a long established Japanese Sake brewing company.
They have a history of producing sake (rice wine). They utilize their knowledge of fermented rice (sake) in their skincare products. Their skincare line leverages the beneficial properties of sake, such as amino acids, for skin hydration and other benefits. So basically they are the same company who have branched out into making skin care products, using their knowledge of Sake. So if anyone wondered why their products sometimes smells like Sake now you know lol
