The Inkey List website recommends you patch test this - I patch tested with no issues. You should follow this recommendation as it is still a stronger mix.
The instructions say this peel should be used in the evening once per week. It can be increased to twice per week if your skin can tolerate it. Be very cautious with the twice a week recommendation! Only do this if it's really necessary.
Though I could tolerate the stated maximum usage I try to be careful due to my darker skin tone so I use it twice a month. Personally my skin reacts well to glycolic acid.
The key ingredients in this are:
✨2% Apple Cider Vinegar (brighten, reduce redness, pore minimising post-blemish marks, breakout reduction)
✨10% Glycolic Acid (smooth and refine skin)
✨5% multi-fruit acid blend (smooth and refine skin)
This is stated as great for even skin tone and texture
I had mild flaking with the first use. It only happened then. I was also very happy with the initial result, noticing an immediate fading with dark marks and rejuvenating my then dehydrated skin.
Fast forward a few months and I am still very happy with this! This has been an extremely helpful booster with the ongoing maintenance and removal of uneven skin tone.
My personal night routine is extremely minimal with this
1️⃣Fragrance free cleanser
2️⃣Apply thin amount to damp skin and neck
3️⃣Wait 10 minutes and rinse off
4️⃣Wait 10 minutes and apply a richer fragrance free, soothing cream.
It is normal for it to tingle very briefly sometimes on applying.
My skin instantly feels smoother and brighter after removal. It feels even better when I wake up in the morning. My skin feels really soft, bright and looks just right.
