Zinc Oxide has a lot in common with Titanium Dioxide but a couple of things make it superior even to Titanium Dioxide. Zinc Oxide has an even nicer and even broader spectrum protection and is considered as the broadest range sunscreen available today. Interesting? Zinc Oxide also highly stable and non-irritating. But as the disadvantages, it also not cosmetically elegant. It leaves a disturbing whitish tint on the skin, although it’s slightly less white than Titanium Dioxide. That’s why I was scared that it would leave a white cast or too much tone-up effect at first. But I decided to buy this crème on February before receiving the package from Picky x Abib, because I was suffering from damaged skin barrier and sensitivity, why not give it a try? Abib Enriched Crème Zinc Tube is claimed to help improve skin elasticity from inside for a healthy complexion. Soothes and protects sensitive skin with Zinc Oxide. It’s also enriched with fellow superstar ingredients such as Panthenol, Heartleaf extract, Centella extract, Sea Buckthorn and Argan Oil. The crème comes with 70ml size silver aluminum tube, not-so-travel-friendly but still not as bulky as moisturizer jar. The texture is a little bit thick but surprisingly it’s easy to spread and absorb fast into the skin. It really promotes intensive moisturizing for my skin with velvety glow finish. It also doesn’t have noticeable scent and tone-up effect, importantly. After two months of usage now, I can say that it does really help to enhance my skin barrier as it claimed. I noticed that my never-ending-acne-cycle is finally stop. It also helps to reduce redness and inflammation while making my skin nourished and supple. This is my holy grail moisturizer for skin repair now. I would give this crème 5/5 and highly recommend this product to anyone who has severe damaged skin barrier and sensitive skin.
