Hydro Boost Gel Cream Extra-Dry Skin

This is a lightweight moisturizer with a pleasing texture. For some reason the extra dry version does not contain fragrance while the original version does. As someone with sensitive skin I only use fragrance free products so it’s great to have that option.

With so many great reviews I was very excited to try this but it stings my skin. I hoped the stinging would subside but it was so bad I had to wash it off. I tried it again a few weeks later just by itself to make sure it wasn’t reacting with some other product in my routine and the same thing happened, very intense stinging sensation. I do have very sensitive skin but I haven’t had a moisturizer sting this intensely before.

Same!! I've pretty much always had okay skin but recently I've been struggling with atopic dermatitis and it does the same to me when my skin is flaring up. I used the original version and it wasn't as bad as your experience but still unpleasant. I think this moisturiser is very mismarketed.
