I was generously gifted this cream by Abib but these are my 100 percent honest opinions.
🌹This creme is packaged beautifully in a minimalist cream tube. I really enjoyed the presentation of it. The only downside is that the packaging is so beautiful, but like all tube formats, it does get crinkled and bumpy with use. This is normal, but it ruins the gorgeous look of the tube which is a shame.
🌹Overall, while I like the ingredients list and the presentation of this product, it is not something that I find suitable for normal, combination, or oily skin. I think others who need much more moisturization than I do would absolutely love this product, but the vast majority of people might want to look for a different option.
🌹The ingredients all seem to be formulated with sensitive skin in mind, which is always a plus for everyone regardless of skin type. Given the name of the cream, I was a bit shocked when it didn’t have a rose scent. All I can really smell is the coconut oil in the cream, and while it isn’t the worst thing in the world, I’m not a fan. While I always applaud companies who don’t add extra fragrance to their products, the natural scent of the ingredients in this product just wasn’t my favorite.
🌹In terms of consistency, this is a very thick creme. Like the Zinc cream, I personally feel it takes a bit too much rubbing to get to a place where I am happy with the look of this product, and those with sensitive skin obviously would not want to rub their face a lot so that is something to keep in mind. This cream is really very heavy so I don’t think this particular creme is the best choice for my skin type (combination), but it may work for others with very dry skin or a damaged skin barrier. For me, I might have to delegate this for use as a hand cream because it is much too heavy for me to use as a facial moisturizer (and I am someone who finds the notoriously thick La Mer moisturizers suitable for use on the face so that’s saying something).
