Dry/Resilient

This is a great gentle cleanser and is reasonably priced at $16. I find that a little bit of this cleanser goes a long way. It has a jelly like consistency and it slightly foams. I find that it cleans well without stripping your skin. I use this cleanser as my 2nd cleanse at night. It has an herbal scent which I like. It includes great ingredients like green tea leaf water and powder, hemp seed oil, sweet almond oil, oat kernel extract as well as glycerin and panthenol. I highly recommed.

Dry/Resilient

This is a gel to foam cleanser that can be used by all skin types. There is no artificial added fragrance, and it is pH balanced at 5.5. While all of the Goodlight products are made in Korea, they are available in the US via Soko Glam, Ulta.com or select Ulta locations. This cleanser retails for $18, but I purchased it (along with the milky toner) from Ulta during a Buy 1 get 40% off sale. Key Ingredients: 🔸 Glycerin 🔸 Hyaluronic Acid 🔸 Laminaria Japonica Seaweed 🔸 Tocopherol (Vitamin E) 🔸 Fructooligosaccarides (prebiotic from plant sugar) 🔸 Beta-glucan Packaging/Texture: Pink 3.38oz/100ml plastic tube with white flip top. Both the tube and paper box it comes in are fully recyclable. Thick gel texture, looks clear but ✨ sparkly under light (Maybe why it has “Cosmic” in the name😂. I did not notice any scent. My Experience: I’ve been using this cleanser as my second cleanse in the evening, following my cleansing balm/oil. I’ve had it for almost 5 months, as you only need to use a very small amount - maybe dime sized at the most. It is very gentle, helping to soothe redness. It comes out as a thick gel, and lathers well when you add water, starting out more foamy but becomes a light watery foam as you cleanse the skin. It washes off easily, without leaving any film on the skin. My skin feels soft and moist - not stripped or tight. I think this is a great cleanser for dry or even sensitive skin. This is a 2–in-1 product too- it doubles as a moisture mask. Just apply to dry skin, leave it on 2-3 minutes before rinsing off. I really like using this cleanser since it cleanses well plus it hydrated and balances skin. I’ve already repurchased

Dry/Resilient

I was given the opportunity to try this cleanser via a “Try Me Review Me” event in exchange for my honest review. This cleanser is a sherbet oil-based balm formula that melts away all traces of makeup without stinging eyes. It features Rice Bran water and grain extracts to deeply nourish, moisturize, and brighten skin. Rice Water is rich in amino acids and minerals and some of its benefits include: ▪️Soothes sun damage ▪️Calms redness ▪️Protects skin barrier ▪️Provides anti-aging benefits The Radiance cleansing balm contains Rice Bran Water, Rice bran oil and Rice bran extract. Other key ingredients include: ▪️Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract ▪️Sea Buckthorn ▪️Oat Extract ▪️Job’s Tears ▪️Glycerin ▪️Propanediol Packaging and Texture: ▪️100 ml plastic tub with a lift-off lid and white spatula, has a clear plastic lid to protect product ▪️Soft-white sherbet balm formula, with no added fragrance or essential oils ▪️Cruelty-free and vegan formula, retails for $19 This version of the cleanser is “renewed” with upgraded packaging and reformulated to better withstand temperature changes, so you can keep it in the bathroom without worry. I like how I can just pop the lid up and down, but the clear plastic lid can only be removed by screwing open the jar. I found it was a pain in the neck to do that every time but this is a minor issue tgat can be resolved by just taking it out. I really like the sherbet balm texture, as it melts into the skin, changing from the balm texture to an oil, and then turns milky as you add water. I use this cleanser at night as part of my double-cleansing routine. I take 1 scoop of balm, apply it to my hands and massage onto dry skin with my fingertips on my face and neck. As it turns into the oil consistency, I continue to massage it for about 1 minute total, just to ensure that all sunscreen and makeup (if wearing) melts away. Then I use some lukewarm water to emulsify into a milky texture and use my hands (or a soft cloth) to wash off the cleanser. Then I follow-up with a 2nd gentle cleanser (either a milk or non-foaming cleanser) to ensure all traces of makeup etc. are removed. It does remove eye products without stinging the eyes, but as I wear waterproof tube mascara, I use a special eye makeup remove before using my oil-based cleanser. This is a great cleanser in my opinion! It is very easy to wash off, and it does not leave a greasy/oily film after using. It also does a good job of removing ALL makeup without irritation or stripping the skin. I like how it has no added fragrance or essential oils. This is a great balm cleanser for all skin types, but especially for those with dry, aging skin like mine. I would definitely repurchase this balm, as it is less expensive than my #1 favorite (Farmacy Green Clean) and removes my eye makeup better than my #2 favorite (Banila Co). It also has no scent (as best I can tell) so if you don’t like products with natural fragrance, I highly recommend this balm.

Dry/Resilient

This cleanser is a cult classic balm in a sherbet form that melts into an oil when in contact with skin. I’ve used this on and off for years, since I first got it on a trip to Korea, and also locally at Ulta. Key Ingredients: 🔸 Onsen-sui (Japanese Hot Spring Water) 🔸 Gromwell Root Extract 🔸 Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) ❌ Fragrance 🔸 Bamboo Leaf Extract 🔸 Rooibos Extract 🔸 Angelica Extract 🔸 Acerola Cherry Extract This cleanser does a great job removing makeup and sunscreen. It doesn’t strip skin, clog pores or leave an oily film on skin after rinsing. All you need is one scoop (unless you wear tons of makeup), so the jar lasts for a long time. I take a scoop, and apply to my skin and massage it in. As it warms up in your hands, it changes to an oil texture, then emulsifies into a cream with water. It washes off easily and is gentle on skin. I don’t know how it works for removing eye makeup because I wear contacts and use a separate lip & eye makeup remover, but it doesn’t irritate or burn if I accidentally get it into my eyes. It is reasonably priced and a jar lasted me about 5 months so would recommend.

Dry/Resilient

I took advantage of the latest Stylekorean “Ready Set Glow” program, which offers 3 full sized products for $9.99 in exchange for an honest review. I love how this promotion lets you try new products for an awesome price. This review is for the Heimish Cleansing Balm which comes in a 120ml plastic tub with a flip-top lid & spatula. It is a multi transforming balm with a thick sherbet texture that melts into the skin like an oil, and turns milky once you add water. Key Ingredients: 🔸Shea Butter 🔸Coconut Extract 🔸Citrus & Botanical Oil Blend 🔸White Flower Complex (Jasmine,Lily, etc) 🔸Several Essential Oils My Experience: I have tried this cleanser before, but it was several years ago before they reformulated it. The last time I used this cleanser, it had a screw on top, but prefer the newer version, since you can just pop it open. Other than the packaging change, the cleanser itself is still great! I use this at night to remove any makeup and/or sunscreen, taking a scoop onto dry skin, massaging it on my face and neck. It spreads easily, turning into an oil to cleanse off everything effectively. Once you add water, it emulsifies into a milky texture that easily rinses off. It removes all makeup except waterproof mascara completely, but I use a separate eye makeup remover. (Unsure if this stings eyes or not) I like how it doesn’t irritate or strip skin, and it doesn’t leave a filmy residue. It does contain several essential oils that give this balm the herbal/citrus scent. These EOs may cause irritation if you have sensitive skin although product is marketed as hypoallergenic. However I do think this is one of the better cleansing balms out there and would repurchase again.

Dry/Resilient

I purchased this balm cleanser from @stylekorean_global through their Ready Set Glow promotion, whuch allows you to purchase 3 items for $9.99. I picked this cleanser, a Numbuzin serum, and the Tocobo sun stick to try in exchange for my honest review. This balm is a sherbet oil-based balm formula that melts away all traces of makeup without stinging eyes. Key ingredients include: ▪️ Bitter Orange ▪️ Tumeric Root ▪️ Glycerin ▪️ Green tea extract ▪️ Chinaberry extract ▪️ Moranga Oil ▪️ Tocopherol ▪️ Ceramide NP ▪️ Shea Butter Packaging & Texture: ▪️120 ml plastic tub with a lift-off lid & white spatula, has a clear plastic lid to protect product ▪️Soft orange sherbet balm with slight citrus scent My Experience: This version of the cleanser is similar to the original Heimish All Clean Balm, but has a lovely citrus smell! I really like how it melts into the skin, changing from a balm to an oil. I used this in PM only as part of my double-cleansing routine. Just take 1 scoop, massage it onto dry skin with fingertips on face & neck for about 1 minute total, just to ensure the oil melts away sunscreen & makeup (if wearing). Adding water emulsifies into a milky texture as it washes off. I thought it did a good job of removing my tube mascara without stinging the eyes. This is a nice cleanser, very easy to wash off, & does not leave a greasy/oily film after using. Like the original version, it does remove all makeup and did not irritate or strip my skin. I’ll continue using it but I do prefer other cleansing balms or the Original version due to some of the ingredients.

I purchased this cleanser at a discounted price through the StyleKorean “Ready Set Glow” program, where you can buy 3 full-sized items for $9.99. This is a low pH cleansing gel which helps gently cleanse skin of impurities & control sebum. Key Ingredients: 🔸 36% Citrus Junos Fruit Water(Yuzu) 🔸 Aloe Leaf Juice (5%) 🔸 Glycerin 🔸 Gardenia Fruit Extract 🔸 Coconut derived surfactants Packaging/Texture: 150ml clear plastic bottle with pump. Has a thick gel texture and a slight citrus scent My Experience: This is the 2nd time I chose a product from @sioris_global, as I purchased the Time is Running Out Mist which I loved and wanted to try more products. I like using gel cleansers in the mornings or as my second cleanse at night. This is a nice gentle cleanser and you only need to use 1-2 pumps. I use 1 pump, mix it in my hands with water, massaging into skin. Then I rinse it off with lukewarm water. It has a jelly texture and it turns into a light lather when wet. (No foam) It cleans well without leaving any residue or tight skin. I didn’t experience any irritation or stripping and think this is a nice cleanser for all skin types.

Dry/Resilient

I received this product for free as a YesStyle Influencer in exchange for my honest review. I have not used a milk cleanser in a very long time but was interested in trying this one because of the yam root extract ingredient. I read something online about how wild yam extract is being explored as a phyto mucin. It is considered a plant-based alternative to snail mucin due to its similarity in texture as well as its skin care benefits. Claims: ▪️Andong Yam Root is rich in Amino Acid that provides a protective barrier to calm sensitive skin ▪️Vegan Milk Complex comprised of Rice Extract (hydration), Coconut Water (soothing), Soybeans (skin conditioning), Oatmeal (skin rejuvenation), and Sweet Almond Oil (prevents moisture loss) ▪️Good for sensitive or dry skin, or for anyone wanting a gentle moisturizing cleanser Packaging and Texture: ▪️220ml/7.45oz plastic bottle with pump ▪️White creamy milk consistency when dispensed, but has a sticky texture like snail mucin when applied to dry skin I’ve been using this cleanser for around 10 days both AM/PM. In the AM, I’m using as my only cleanser and PM as my 2nd cleanse (after removing makeup/sunscreen with an oil-based cleanser). I’m really liking it so far, as my skin leans dry. The texture is interesting as it appears to be a true milk cleanser, but it is stringy on dry hands like snail mucin. Suggested use is to apply to dry skin and gently massage to remove makeup and impurities, then apply water and continue to massage for about 1 minute, before rinsing with warm water. I found that when I applied it on dry skin, it absorbed into the skin like a moisturizer, so I changed how I used it. I apply 1 full pump of cleanser onto dry skin but add a small amount of water to emulsify, before massaging it into the skin, and then add more water, massaging for 1 minute, before washing off with warm water. It makes my skin feel soft and it feels clean after using, without stripping my skin. It is safe for eyes, although I use an eye and lip makeup remover to remove mascara. I haven’t used a cleansing milk recently because I never thought they cleaned thoroughly and often left a slight film on the skin. I work from home 3days a week, so I don’t wear makeup daily, but I do apply sunscreen every day. I find that it does a good job removing my sunscreen if I massage it into my skin for at least one minute and don’t feel like double cleansing. It is unscented, and I did not experience any irritation whatsoever. It really does a good job or retaining moisture into the skin, and I think it will be a great cleanser in the winter months when my skin gets super dry. I would recommend for sensitive or dry skin types due to the nourishing effects. It can be mixed with a clay mask to help tighten pores, but not sure if those with combination/oily skin will enjoy this cleanser.

Dry/Resilient

I received the Rovectin Skin Essentials Conditioning Cleanser at a very discounted price through @0.8l_usa & @rovectin_global in exchange for my honest review. I’ve tried several products from Rovectin over the past few months, & liked everything so far! This was another winner for me. This cleanser is a low pH, hydrating cleanser that is mildly acidic, that cleanses gently without drying skin, preventing damage to skin’s moisture barrier. The natural, plant-based micro-foam formula cleanses away impurities without irritation. It is 100% Vegan & cruelty free, formulated without artificial fragrances alcohol, mineral oils, or essential oils. Key Ingredients: * Glycerin * Hyaluronic Acid * Centella Asiatica * Amino Acids (8 essential, 9 non-essential) * Grape Seed Extract Packaging: 175ml clear plastic bottle with pump, has a removable semi-transparent label that can be removed for recycling. Comes sealed in plastic protective wrap Texture: Clear, slightly runny gel consistency, slight lather when water is added. Has slight scent. My Review: I prefer using gel-based cleansers for my morning cleanse or 2nd cleanse, as opposed to foam based ones, which tend to dry out my skin. I would consider this cleanser to be a mix of both, with a gel-like texture that transforms into a light lather when you add water. One pump is enough for my face, it deep cleans without any tightness & rinses off easily with no residual film left on skin. Rovectin describes the scent as a light coconut scent (from the coconut-derived surfactants), but I thought it was more medicine-like. I used this cleanser for about 2 weeks, both AM/PM & my skin feels so soft & moist after using. It is nice & gentle & does not strip my skin. It is full of great ingredients, including glycerin & 3 types of hyaluronic acids for moisture retention, centella asiatica & grape seed extract to soothe skin with antioxidant properties, while many amino acids hydrate skin & are antioxidants. I would highly recommend this non-irritating cleanser for all skin types. It is reasonably priced at $17 & would last for a few months of daily use. I’ve already purchased a back-up!

Review: Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil I received this product for free from Picky and Skin1004 in exchange for my honest review. This is described as a lightweight, oil-based cleanser that gently melts away makeup, sunscreen, & dirt without stinging the eyes. Key Ingredients: 🔸 Centella Asiatica (10,000ppm) 🔸 Sunflower Oil 🔸 Olive Oil 🔸 Jojoba oil 🔸 Bergamot fruit oil Packaging/Texture: 200ml clear plastic bottle with white pump cap. Texture is a somewhat runny oil (golden yellow) that has a distinctive floral scent. My Experience: Skin1004 is one of my favorite brands so I was excited to have the opportunity to try this cleanser. I wear sunscreen daily and makeup sometimes, so I always do a double cleanse at night. This cleanser has Centella Asiatica and 6 botanical oils as the main ingredients. Centella Asiatica calms skin, while sunflower and olive oil provides sebum care, and bergamot & jojoba oils provide skin nourishment. As far as my experience goes, this cleanser does a good job removing all traces of sunscreen and makeup (except waterproof mascara). I use 2 pumps and apply with my hands on dry skin, gently massaging all over my face at night . Then I wet my hands, continue massaging until it becomes milky. Then I remove with lukewarm water. I like how easily it glides on the skin and how it washes off without any oily residue. My skin feels clean and not stripped. Then I follow up with my 2nd cleanse and the rest of my routine. Unfortunately I did experience some irritation on my cheeks, but unsure if it was from this cleansing oil or another product. (I plan to reintroduce again to check) I am happy I was able to try this cleanser and will continue to use as it effectively cleans all traces of makeup and sunscreen. But I do prefer other cleansers as my first cleanse and probably would not purchase. Pros: Cleans well, no oily residue, doesn’t burn eyes, short ingredient list Cons: Contains 3 essential oils and added fragrance, strong floral scent Update: I’ve been using this cleanser to remove makeup and sunscreen nightly and have decided I really do like it. I reintroduced it after a couple of months and did not experience any skin irritation thr 2nd time around. It dissolves makeup quickly and rinses off cleanly without leaving any filmy residue.

Dry/Resilient

I received the Varuza Soy Gentle Cleanser at a very discounted price from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. This cleanser is described as a gentle moisturizing cleanser with a vegan formula that effectively removes skin impurities & makeup. This is the 2nd cleanser I’ve tried this month with vegan mucin, which is derived from Japanese Yam Root. Key Ingredients: ▪️Soybean Ferment extract ▪️Yam Root ▪️Centella Asiatica ▪️Fig Extract ▪️Japanese kelp ▪️Mushroom Extract ▪️Amaranth oil ▪️Ceramide NP Packaging/Texture: 150ml/4.2oz plastic tube with flip top. Clear gel texture, contains added fragrance with strong grapefruit scent. My Experience: I have been using this cleanser as either an AM or 2nd cleanse for a little over a week so far. I like using vegan skin products as they have natural derived ingredients that you don’t see in other products. Plus my skin reacts well to ferments. I’m also a fan of snail mucin, so it is great to see plant-based alternatives available. Additionally mushroom extract is a vegan form of Hyaluronic acid. This cleanser has a jelly like texture that doesn’t foam, but turns into a milky cream as you massage into skin. It contains natural surfactants like beets & coconut, so it is gentle on the skin. I pop open the lid, dispense a coin sized amount and massage into wet skin before rinsing off with lukewarm water. It does a good job of cleansing without stripping my skin. I don’t know if it removes mascara or eye makeup since the box states to use a special remover, so assume it may burn around eyes. Yam root helps soothe the skin barrier & the soybean ferment is moisturizing, making this good for all skin types. I experienced no irritation & I don’t mind the grapefruit scent but would have preferred this be fragrance free

I was gifted the Make P:rem – Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Foam in a giveaway on the Picky App. I also recieved a mini size in a skincare kit in October that includes 3 products, formulated with soothing ingredients. - Safe me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Foam (20ml) - Safe me. Relief Essence toner (30ml) - Safe me. Relief Moisture Cream 12 (80ml) *Claims: This is a low-pH slightly acidic foaming cleanser with a pH of 5.5 that closely matches the natural pH levels of skin. It is infused with hydrating & soothing botanical extracts, as well as glycerin & panthenol. Formulated with Marrubium Vulgare extract to protect skin from external stressors & Baobao tree fruit extract to help retain moisture. Effectively removes makeup residues & impurities, claimed to be suitable for sensitive skin. Vegan and cruelty-free. *Key Ingredients: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (Coconut oil extract) provides a gentle cleanse. Rubus Idaeus Extract (Raspberry), Baobao Tree Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate & Panthenol provide moisturizing properties and Marrubium Vulgare Extract (Horehound Herb from Mint family) protects skin. Does contain Rosemary Leaf oil which may be irritating to sensitive skin. *Texture: Very thick white cream that converts to foam when applied to wet face. *Packaging: Standard plastic tube (came with a seal), easy to squeeze out product. *My Review: I have used this cleanser for about 3 weeks, both in the AM and PM (2nd cleanse at night). I have been using it in conjunction with the vitamin C serum and micro-tension cream from the same brand. I normally use a gel cleanser as my morning/2nd cleanse, as most foaming cleansers tend to strip my skin. You only need a little bit of product, and I apply it to wet hands and face to get it to lather up to my liking. It was very easy to rinse off and since you use so little, it will last a long time. The scent is quite strong – kind of a minty sage herbal scent, but it goes away after you wash it off. I think it is a good cleanser for all skin types, as it left my drier skin feeling clean and refreshed with no tightness or stripping. I also like how the tube has a place to put the date you opened it on the product, so you can use it up before the PAO deadline. I wish all brands did this
