Gel cleanser vs Foam cleanser (Which one removes makeup better?)

Let me know what do you guys prefer for removing makeup. With a foam cleanser, i have noticed my makeup gets removed very effectively however it does have a stripping / drier feel. On the other hand, i have to double cleanse with a gel cleanser in order to fully get rid of all makeup residue. Is it similar with you guys, if not then please recommend your favorite cleanser. I would love to try something new.

I'm using diluted baby shampoo when I wear eyeshadow. I haven't wore foundation in years but if I would, I would start with baby oil, and then the shampoo. It's pretty effective, even with waterproof mascara. I don't have to double cleanse when I use it. I have put it in a foam dispenser, and it's pretty convenient. Of course, I only use it when I want to remove my makeup; not every day. But it's mild, and safe for the kid's skin, and extremely effective with waterproof mascara. So, I'm sticking with it.

That's very interesting and sounds very safe for skin. Will try it out ♡

For me, cleansing balm removes my make up better. It’s all up to your preference, skin type and skin concerns anyway. I don’t double cleanse with cleansing oil, find it too stripping for my skin.

Oh yes, I also agree. I think cleansing balms are super effective. Cleansing oil seem to clog up my pores 🥲
