Oily/Resilient
When I would wear concealer, eyebrow wax, eyeshadow, and mascara, I would double cleanse.
I found that oil cleansers only add to my oiliness, and don't do much on removing my makeup, so I started double cleanse with the cleanser I alright like.
Ever since I tried baby shampoo to wash off my makeup, there was no need to use this or any other product twice. It's absolutely perfect, and the only thing I use to remove waterproof mascara.
There is no reason to double cleanse constantly. But if your cleanser is not sufficient, and won't clean you enough, you will have to consider buying another one or use a second one to finish the job.

You only need to double cleanse with an oil cleanser (in the evening/night) if you wear makeup and water-resistant sunscreen. Otherwise, you don't really need to as most normal water-based cleansers are sufficient enough to cleanse your face and get rid of the accumulated dirt and sebum from the day/night.

It depends on your skin needs and how your skin can tolerate it.
In my experience, I tried double cleansing oil and cleansing foam at night but I noticed I’ve been breaking out more and its stripping my skin so much.
So I switch to just cleansing foam day time and night time and add a cleansing balm whenever I have make up.

Honestly, double cleansing has been a total game-changer for me, especially since I wear sunscreen daily and sometimes a bit of makeup. I used to think my face was clean with just one wash, but after trying oil cleansing followed by a gentle water-based cleanser, I noticed way fewer breakouts and my skin felt so much smoother.
I usually use a balm or oil cleanser first to break everything down, then follow with something mild and non-stripping my skin leans toward combo/dry, so I try not to overdo it. I was skeptical at first too, but it really helped with clogged pores and dullness. Just gotta make sure both cleansers suit your skin type!
What’s been your experience so far?

My experience so far has been good, it has really helped to remove excess sebum and just made my skin feel more smooth
